*** Test Tip of the Day
If you've got a complicated fraction or multiplication on an arithmetic question, look for a shortcut that might let you avoid doing lengthy calculations. For example, if you're asked to figure out which is greater, 820/8 or (0.125)(825), remember that 1/8 = 0.125, so that (825)(0.125) = 825/8, which is bigger than 820/8.

*** Test Tip of the Day
Here's some excellent advice from one of our students: I read a great deal of information about pre and post test strategies as well as what to do during the test. Perhaps the best advice I was given, was not to "overprepare" the day before the test. Don't try to study too much, get a good night sleep, have a good breakfast. Also know where the test site is and give yourself plenty of time to arrive at the site. Don't rush, don't panic and don't stress. As test of this sort sometimes call for making an educated guess, one cannot make such a guess without a sound mind and body. And one cannot have those without proper rest and relaxation the night before. Best advice, give yourself time to study then give yourself time to relax, then take the test.
